Pumps with bunioned feet

Is it possible to get pumps to wear if you have bunions and wide feet? I tried the ones in Evans and the line cuts right across them. I need some that are kind of higher cut. I've always wanted to wear crop trousers and pumps. TIA

what kind of pumps? With foot problems like bunions aren't you better off with orthopaedic type shoes?

I have foot problems myself and just choose shoes for comfort, and to make sure they don't aggravate the problem

i have the same trouble . the only ones ive found so far are primark , they have some wide fit ones . dorothy perkins also have wide fit , found a pair that were ok in there the other week but they only had navy blue which i didnt want .

When you say pumps do you mean like ballet pumps? Or like a trainer pump?
I have a small bunion (only I really notice it) and I find it's red and achey after wearing ballet pumps and I swear it swells a bit. I've given up on them as I've never found a pair that doesn't make it ache.

Am dying to try out the Pavers stretch genie (or similar) for a similar problem. Worth a try? Other things are available on Amazon also for cheaper.

I always wear good comfortable shoes but I would love to look nice the odd time. I'm constantly in trainers in the summer and the little laced canvas shoes that I wear with my crop jeans and trousers aren't always dressy enough, and I'd love to wear a dress sometimes. I got the primark ones last year but I feel I'd like a little bit more support, but I'll have another look this year.has anyone tried the clarks wide ones? I was just looking on line a while ago and wondered if they were comfortable.

I feel your pain-literally! I have exactly the same problem, amd can almost tell by looking now if a pair of shoes are cut in the wrong place for me.
I've found these to be quite comfy though, and they come in a few colours

Like Buttwing I have a small bunion and my podiatrist told me not to wear ballet pumps unless there is a strap across the top. I got these which look fine on.

I think Clarks wide fit are good. Look out for their Soft Wear and "Plus" ranges which I think have more padding. Gabor are also good but pricier.

I think you just have to try things on to make sure they don't cut across the bunion. It's also worth looking for shoes with straps or laces rather than slip on styles. A fairly low heel with a t-bar strap is good.
