Been thinking about getting a Water Pick so would be grateful for any advice on the best one to buy... also, if you use one do you think it had improved your gum health?

I used to use one before it packed up after 5 years but am going to get another one. You'd be surprised (tmi) at the amount of bits you get out even post brushing. It's not a substitute for flossing though as it can't scrape the edges of the teeth like floss can but it has its own use and is a hell of a lot easier than floss

Just remember to dribble the water streams from your mouth over the sink and not the floor as I did first time I used it

I never remember to floss so this is great for me, if you are regular at flossing it may not be so useful for you

I had one when I had braces. It packed in after a few years but I used it a lot and I did have my braces in for over four years. Found it very satisfying to blast food out from behind my wires.

I used one for years but don't bother now. If you floss properly there really isn't any need.

I floss daily but use my Water Pik once a week, it really is not a substitute for flossing, flossing is superior, but it does give your teeth and gums a good blast! Since I floss and Water Pik my hygienist has said she has noticed a big difference and now when I go to see her she barely has to spend any time on me. Also nice feeling to not see any blood when you brush your teeth.
