i need new pyjamas - where to go?

It sounds simple, but I am quite particular! What I would really like is a short/top or nightie to sleep in (i get hot with full pjs) plus matching trousers to wear when I get up (which makes it sound like I don't get dressed - I do, just not straight away).

I don't like Cath kidson but I do like flowers. Any ideas?

I bought some PJs in Uniqlo recently. Cotton, different length bottoms ((
(shorts, 3/4 and full) and lots of patterns to choose from. Very reasonably priced too.

I don't know if they do a shorts/top combo, but have you looked in The White Company? I know they do mix n match stuff, so you can order as separates, and the material is gorgeous as lasts for years wash after wash. Bit pricey mind, but I've had a few bargains in the sale, and there's often a 20% off code flying around on the promo vouchers section of MN.

and lasts..

I have a pair of Asda pyjama bottoms which have been around for seven years or so now. Nothing has ever matched them in terms of comfort, and they are still in very good nick considering their age.

I just team them with a vest top, t shirt, or long sleeve top depending on how cold I feel.

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 26/04/2015 10:19

I buy h&m long vests (not pjs) and then pick up cotton pj bottoms I see when im out. Tesco, Asda, Primark. All the same in terms of comfiness and whilst I also have a pair of Cath Kidston ones, the only way I can tell the difference is the label inside.

Thank you. I agree white company are good quality, but I do like a bit of colour. U hadn't thought about mixing vests and bottoms from different brands Blush might look at bravissimo for tops and get cheaper bottoms from elsewhere.

Will check out uniclo.

Fat face do nice pj's

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 26/04/2015 11:07

Marking place.

I want some cotton shorts (M&S usually have some) but I don't know what to wear on top. I can't sleep in a vest because I feel as if my norks are escaping and taking over the bedroom. Inspiration needed please.

What I'd really ike is something like these but in cotton.

Or a cotton top like this but with little sleeves.

littlesupersparks · 26/04/2015 11:09

I always love the pyjamas in sainsburys

JeanSeberg · 26/04/2015 11:09

Can't beat Primark and they have all styles to mix and match.

Owllady · 26/04/2015 11:11

Sainsburys
They do lovely pyjamas, nighties and lightweight matching robes. Really good quality for the money. Washes well and doesn't shrink

cashewnutty · 26/04/2015 11:31

I am really fussy about where i buy things but the best pyjamas, in my opinion, are from Tesco, Asda and Primark.

Marmaladybird · 26/04/2015 11:37

Anthropologie have nice ones, some in the sale, but mostly I get mine from TK Maxx. In store is best but they have some nice ones online too.

plummyjam · 26/04/2015 12:37

iris and Edie nightwear is very nice. it's a debenhams brand.

EssexMummy123 · 26/04/2015 12:43

Can anywhere suggest anywhere that does jersey type pj's?

Gem124 · 26/04/2015 12:48

Can't beat Primark. And they do mix and match things so shorts, long bottoms and a matching top or colour coordinating vests x

Owllady · 26/04/2015 14:26

Sainsburys do nice cotton jersey ones, I don't work for them honestly

Lardylassnomore · 26/04/2015 16:18

TK Maxx

morethanpotatoprints · 26/04/2015 16:24

primark have new stock in, a huge variety, good quality and reasonably priced.
I know you need to be careful what you buy from here because it can be crap, but ime the pyjamas are great and last well too.

tilder · 26/04/2015 16:54

Thanks for all the suggestions. My problem is that my mum wants to buy me pjs (no idea why, but its generous of her) so I need to be sure she can find them.

Any more ideas?
