Conditioner for thick hair

I have long, really thick hair and I'm fed up of it always being tangled. It takes forever to brush after washing but even when dry it's gettingn really tuggy. I've recently been using the red l'oreal conditioner and a herbal essences one but they make no difference. I'm hoping someone can recommend a good conditioner that's not too pricey.

I really like the Pantene smooth and sleek. You don't need to use much. I don't have an issue with it building up either x

Today I bought the Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner. They're £10 each but a lot cheaper than what I have been using! I am a sulphate free convert with sensitive skin so try to go no paraben etc if I can. I've not tried it yet. They do sell small bottles if you wanted to give it a go?

Thanks everyone. Will write these down and give them a try. I've had it trimmed today so that will hopefully help.

I tried the Liz Earle oil today after reading about it on here. It's made a huge difference to the dry-ability of my hair and it's so soft now with no frizziness. It's not cheap but you need the tiniest amount.
