Fit flops????

Are they worth it?
I need some new black smartish sandals but have chubby feet and plantar fasciitis (mild). I love my Birkenstocks and was considering a black patent pair but I was wondering if Fitflops would be any good?

I love them! I've got 2 pairs and contemplating a 3rd. As soon as the weather's warm enough, I wear them most of the time. Think walking on cushions!

Must say, having had a couple of bouts of PF, Fitflop sandals were excellent and really cushioned my feet in a way Birkenstocks didn't.

You ladies are tempting me out of £75 here!!!
Mind you if I have them for a few years that's not too bad is it???

They do last for ages and older designs are often on sale Smile

I've had mine for 5 years. they're done now but I really rate them as they're so comfy.

I bought the sparkly rokkit ones two years ago. Have worn them loads snd they are still like new. I find them so comfortable but my feet do get hot in them. Well worth the money imo and I actually like the older sparkly style more than the new more expensive ones.

Have had my sparkly silver ones for about 7 years and they still look good as new. Gonna treat myself to a new pair this year. Most comfy thing to walk on during the summer.

Annarose2014 · 23/04/2015 15:25

Had PF and splurged on a pair last summer when heavily pregnant.

Best. Purchase. Ever. I can bounce across cobbles all day long!

I got a black pair with gold bits on (the Aztec Chada black pebble) and they actually look pretty expensive in the flesh. Some of the older "sportier" designs I'm not fond of though - the newer designs are far better.

I saw a pair on a blog yesterday which have camelias on them like a pair of Chanel flipflops - they're called the Bloom and I'm very tempted for this year!

Hoppinggreen · 24/04/2015 13:22

I've been eying up the Bloom ones but I need a plainer black pair so that would be 2 pairs ( and £150!!!!!!)

I wear them they are very comfy, great for sightseeing. They are not very attractive but I don't care.

burnishedsilver · 24/04/2015 13:35

Yes they're worth it.
I had been turning my nose up at them for years because I don't like the look of them. I'm eating my words. They are incredibly comfortable. There is also a much better variety of styles available now.

Corygal · 24/04/2015 15:57

Beyond worth it. Some of the designs are superchic and cult as well - the Shuv mule and the Japanesey flip flop designs. TK maxx do them sometimes and ebay is always cheap.
