I have quite bad wrinkles on my forehead and was wondering if anyone knew of any good creams or treatments that work please?

A fringe works well imeWink

napkin · 14/04/2015 18:19

Yes I think that's my last resort Grin

A fringe or Botox. Either will work marvellously.

Floisme · 14/04/2015 18:25

Apologies as I've said this before but jowls are marvellous for this. I never notice my wrinkles any more.

napkin · 14/04/2015 18:35

Sorry if I sound stupid but what are jowls?

If you don't know what they are then you haven't got themGrin enjoy your time not knowing!

loveliesbleeding1 · 14/04/2015 18:39

I have a deep vertical line between my brows, and I use loreal double collagen deep wrinkle filler.I haven't been using it very long, but I can feel the line less with my fingers now.

Floisme · 14/04/2015 18:41

Just wait and see *napkin" Wink

Kundry · 14/04/2015 18:46

Botox. You might see a bit of difference with a combo of acid toner, retinol and peptides but nothing is going to make a big difference except Botox.

napkin · 14/04/2015 18:54

Oh great... sounds like I have some things to look forward to then Hmm
I would have botox done but it's the few horror stories you hear and having to have it done every few months!

Oh to not know what jowls are!

Let's just say you'll know them when you see them...

napkin · 14/04/2015 18:58

Well I have just turned 31 so hopefully I can live a few more years without the so called jowls Wink

If the wrinkles are deep as you say then botox is your best option, there is no cream in the world that will get rid of them.

Floisme · 14/04/2015 19:01

Here you are napkin. I guarantee you'll never complain about wrinkles again Wink

Oh and that'll be £200 Smile

MoustacheofRonSwanson · 14/04/2015 19:04

Moisturiser with hylaronic acid in it will blur/plump them a bit. They won't disappear but it will soften it. I've had deep wrinkle in my forehead since I was born. My mum said it was because I was always an old soul.

Seriouslyffs · 14/04/2015 19:09

I use frownies
Here
I think they work; I've used them for years and certainly if I ever miss a night I feel groovy in a bad way.

napkin · 14/04/2015 19:16

Ha ha Flo not quite there yet! Think I might give them frownies a go, thanks for the link.

OP posts:
XiCi · 14/04/2015 19:23

I used frownies for quite a bit and actually think that they are quite a good alternative if you're not feeling ready for botox. They stop your facial muscles moving during the night

Look mightily unsexy stuck to your face though. Might not be an option if you have a hot date or two lined up Smile

NormHonal · 14/04/2015 19:36

I've got them too but am 40 and am feeling Botox starting to beckon .

It doesn't help that after years of using sunblock, I still have stupid days like today where I forget because, hey, it's only APRIL and catch the sun too much on my forehead.

That said, I have just tried samples of Kiehl's Powerful Strength Line Reducing cream and Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream and thought I did see an improvement, so I might give them a whirl.

And I've ordered some frownies.

I've also had the Guinot Hydradermie lifting facial recommended, so might try that.

napkin · 14/04/2015 20:05

Looks like frownies are the way to go then. Will keep my eyes open for some decent creams.

I was distracted by this in the queue last week and it's 'vanished' my dark under eyes and the wrinkles have gone; the skin looks very bright and fine. I'm guessing it's been discontinued so I'm going to get the rest of their stock!

Mominatrix · 14/04/2015 20:38

If the wrinkles are quite deep, either live with them, get a fringe, or get Botox.
