Use 2 separate hair products or does one exist that does it all?

I have fine hair cut into a short graduated bob. I've been using a volumising mousse which is great at giving it body but I find it makes my hair a bit dull and as I straighten the ends they have started to go a bit frizzy.

I have just bought some V05 heat protect styling spray which makes my hair lovely and shiny and soft and the ends are in much better shape, but it's so flat and limp at the roots.

I've just run out of mousse so I haven't tried them together, but is there much point? Will one negate the other? And will too many products weigh my hair down?

Or, knowledgeable mumsnetters, is there a product out there that gives me the best of both worlds? (And isn't too pricey)

Thanks.

I have fine hair. Put the mousse on the roots only, the spray the styling spray avoiding the roots.

Have you tired a texturising cream, after drying rub a bit over your hands and then pick out bits of your hair. It pumps it up to give more volume

Try using Philip Kingsley maximiser volumising spray on the roots. You can buy small travel sizes to try first as it's quite pricey.

Or try my latest discovery which is Got2b Superstar 10in1 Styling balm which apparently does everything you want and more.
