Which type of mani/pedi would you recommend for 2 week holiday

I usually have a normal mani/pedi for a holiday but my mani never lasts for long. Have looked at shellac & gel (don't want false nails). The shellac/gel ones look quite thick. Would you bother & just have a normal mani/pedi or recommend something else. It's a hot beach holiday so don't know how much sun, sea, sand etc would affect it. Any advice would be v much appreciated.

Definitely shellac, without a doubt. You will love the shiny finish and it lasts for yonks. Have a lovely holiday!

I'd definitely have either calgel or gelish. I've not tried shellac. I had calgel for a weeks hol in Portugal & it never chipped or looked dull & I swam & went to the beach everyday. Also, there are loads of colours to choose from, it's touch dry straight away & lasts 3 weeks.

Personally I don't find it too thick at all, it's well worth the money. I think calgel is the most expensive, where I go it's £28 for hands & gelish is £19.50.

I had Gelish last year for a 2 week in the south of France.
It lasted 3 weeks on my fingers and 5 weeks on my toes!!
Loads of colours to choose from, lasts ages and looks fantastic - well worth the money and I would definitely recommend it.
