Need a bra intervention please!

So after 14 months of breastfeeding, having stopped a month ago I thought I can finally remeasure myself. Got myself a bit confused, I'm 32'' under the bust, and 35.4'' round the bust....not sure what cup size that makes me?
I always thought I was a 34b so clearly that is wrong!
Also, any recommendations for reasonably priced high street bras? I usually buy mine in the supermarket
Thank you!

Did you pull the tape measure tightly when measure under your bust and also lean over to 90 degrees to measure more loosely around the nipples?

Oh good, a bra intervention thread. Can someone please summarise the technique so I can pass it on to a friend?

showtunesgirl · 07/04/2015 22:25

It's all in that link! But basically measure as per what I posted previously and don't add any inches to it. If you get 32 under your bust, then you're a 32.

Then measure bending over and measure around your nipples. For every inch over 32, that's your cup size.

We cross posted, but thank you for clarifying showtunes.

Yes showtunes that's the technique I used! I just couldn't see how to work out cup size....so would that make me a 32c?!

32C or D.

StatisticallyChallenged · 08/04/2015 12:01

a 32c has the same cup volume as a 34b, but will be more supportive . a 32D will have a little more space.

OK, thankyou.
