If you are tall and fashionable what do you wear on your feet

I'm 5' 8" tall and don’t like to wear high heels because I don’t want to be even taller. If you are the same – what do you wear on your feet (heels wise) that is fashionable? I struggle to find fashionable-ish winter work smart shoes. Any input gratefully received

Interesting thread, I'm 5'6" and am still quite self conscious about my height, after spending several years working with some very short fat people who made me feel like some sort of freak. I'm now re-learning how to walk in heels and it feels fabulous.

I'm tall and fashionable and I wear the exact same shoes as people who are of average height and fashionable.
Fashion is fashion whether you're 5'8" or above.

Oh I'm the short arse here at 5'7"!
I don't wear heels as I'd tower over everyone, DP is 5'11" and I don't want to look down on him. I also worry with my amount of makeup that I'd look like a drag queen.

So biker boots. Tall ones, short ones, but nothing 'pretty'.

And I can't walk in heels

I'm 6'2" and I will wear heels sometimes (I don't wear them often as they hurt my feet, rather than worrying about being too tall). It is hard though as I find it difficult to find shoes I like which don't have huge heels.

5'9" an rarely worry about being too tall (though DH is only 1" taller than me and may have a different viewpoint on this...!). I do tend to wear mostly flats but this is mainly because of running around after kids (brogues, boots, skaters, sandals - see enbrogue.com).

Rarely wear very high heels because I find them so uncomfortable - also have size 8/9 feet so it's hard enough to find shoes anyway (that's another thread...). But I love a 2-3" heel from time to time, would never occur to me not to for height reasons.
