Easy make up for a non make up wearer?

I think my bare face needs some help. I have an oily t zone so make up floats off, normally I just don't bother.
Is there a very lightweight non greasy foundation? Should I be looking at bb, cc or mineral (I don't think I even know what they are) Smile

Bare Minerals is fab. You can get the starter kit for £50, that includes primer, 3 brushes, the foundation, bronzer (that I use for contour) and a mineral vale. It's very light and gives medium coverage, you can increase the coverage by wearing the tinted primer or just going over the layer. It lasts ages and perfect for oily skin

I very rarely wear makeup and after spending a fortune stocking up a few years ago the only thing I have reinvested in is Benefit Porefessional. It is a primer, and seems to even my skin tone well and reduces pores. I moisturise well First and sometimes even just mix some of it with my moisturiser to make it even quicker. You can add foundation on top if you want but I generally just use a bit of blusher on my cheeks and That makes me feel made up enough. If you do want to wear a full face of makeup the mineral powder foundations are great and like pp said bare minerals is good and seems to be a lot of people's favourite. I have invested in lots of make-up a few times in the last few years but when I went to rebuy recently I realised how little I wear makeup, think once in a month, so I have streamlined my collection. I now have a 4.99 maybelline mascara, a black chunky kohl pencil, 2 mua 4quid eyeshadow palettes, mua 2.50 eye primer, mua cheap mosaic blush(so similar to my old trusty benefit hervana) and a collection 4.99 mineral powder for days when I want a bit more coverage. Now when I buy my Porefessional the next time that is all I will be buying in Benefit, am really pleased with all the cheap stuff I have had.. it has actually inspired me to wear it a bit more And when I stop again I haven't broken the bank!

Also meant to say you can reapply Porefessional over other makeup so if you get slightly shiny on your t zone through the day just pop a bit more on.
Sorry for the long post in the middle of the night, I have a 4month old dd and this is the only time I seem to get to look online!

Thanks for the replies. I tried to answer earlier but I'm having this iPad/safari problem.

I'm getting on well with bobbi brown bb cream. I skip the moisturiser and slap this on instead, using fingers. I don't wear anything else on my face daily.

I really like Origins VitaZing - I think it's billed as a tinted moisturiser so it gives a smooth barely there coverage and it's not a shockingly made up look. For heavier coverage I use Laura Mercier's tinted moisturiser or some times Dior's BB cream (works wonders for me).

For my t zone I rely on MAC's blotting powder Grin

I had a quickie lesson at Bobbi Brown and learnt to use their gel liner (expensive but they're cheaper versions) applied with various brushes. Youtube is your friend to learning those kinds of techniques.

Stick with simple eye liners and natural shades of lipsticks at first so you don't get overwhelmed and not recognise yourself in the mirror.
