What's the best 'glowy' full coverage foundation?!

It's driving me crazy that I can't find my 'holy grail' foundation!
I have combination skin that's more on the dry side, than oily. I have tried so many different foundations that I can't even begin to list them!
I like a liquid foundation, medium to full coverage but not too matte. The most recent one I've tried is Clarins Everlasting Foundation but have found it clings to my dry patches as it is too matte.
Please help!

My all time favourite is YSL Fusion Ink. They give out decent samples so do try it. You can "layer" it where you need more coverage, but it never looks cakey . I too have combination skin / oily in places, dry too, older skin needing a glow etc but I find this is a brilliant foundation that suits me so well . Do try it !

Thanks gonegrey56! I'll try and pick up a sample of that tomorrow

I have two favourites ATM- Clarins extra comfort and Clinique beyond perfecting. The clarins just edges it I think as it lasts longer and is a better shade match. I'd advise trying both.

I didn't get on with the YSL fusion- it was simultaneously too thin and caked on dry patches on my skin.

I also really liked YSL Fusion Ink - although I'm not sure I'd say it was 'glowy' (it has quite a matte finish - on me at least).

The Chanel Vitalumière Aqua foundation is really nice and gives more glow - it's a similar coverage to the YSL one.

That said, I don't think either of these foundations are 'full' coverage - they both give good coverage, but I find I have to go over with a concealer to cover up particular blemishes.

Also, if you want to try something cheaper - Bourjois healthy mix serum - glowy, and a cheaper alternative to the Chanel one. I haven't personally bought it myself (I've tried it on in Boots) but I recommended it to my sister and she loves it.

Have you tried Diorskin Star, Nars Sheer Glow, Makeup For Ever HD foundation? They all work well on my combination skin

Fusion in is matte. Try the YSL touché éclat foundation, full coverage yet slightly glowy. I love it

Thanks all.
Yazzy85 I would love to try Nars' newest foundation but unfortunately I don't have a Nars counter in my town and don't want to risk buying online without a sample etc.
I have tried Dior Star, I got a sample of it a couple of months ago but felt it went on a bit too watery than what I'm used to, and thought it was more medium coverage than full.
Where abouts is the Make Up Forever available at? Thanks!

Misssss thanks will also pick up a sample of that too.

I love Chantecaille Future Skin but at £60 I don't buy it often instead I go for Laura Mercier Moisture Supreme with Beauty flash balm

RL20 I ordered the Make Up Forever online after reading reviews and looking at swatches, there are these two shops in the UK that sell online and have their stores in London I think.

The new Nars foundation does look great as well. How did you apply the Star foundation? Maybe using a different method might give more coverage. I use it with the real techniques brush and its medium coverage but at the shop they used the new dior blender and it was much heavier coverage.

Enjoying all these foundation threads! Grin Seeing as the Revlon Colorstay had been mentioned before, worth noting each shade comes in two formulations, oily-combination and dry.

Very pleased with my recently bought Lancôme Teint Miracle. It does seem to make me glow a bit.

Eliza22 · 27/03/2015 08:44

I like Lancome Teint Idole 24 HR. It is long wearing and once settled over your moisturiser, gives a nice glow. On me it does, at least. It is full coverage but, using only a little, it can also be a light coverage. Very flexible depending what you need each day. Lancome are pretty good at samples too! What I really like about this is that whatever you put on top (blush/bronzer whatever) stays put longer as "lesser" foundations which disappear can take the blush with it! Makes your pores disappear too!
