Bra intervention pretty please?

I wasn't sure if I should ask on an old thread or just start a new one... but I'd appreciate any help. I'm bfing and find I'm a different size to last time, nothing fits and I can't carry on like this!

My measurements are 30 & 37" so I'm guessing 30E/F?? My smallest backed bra is 32E which is okish on the tightest fastening, but slightly big in the cup. Can I get anything to fit anywhere?? I'd love some pretty bras with a bit of padding to disguise the lumpiness of washable pads, but I suppose that's too much to ask... Should I buy normal bras and alter them for nursing?
Grateful for any suggestions :)

You'd certainly get more choice and flexibility if you buy normal bras and I believe that you can get conversion kits on eBay.

It sounds like you definitely need to go down to a 30 band. A 30F is the same cup volume as your 32E so if you're getting gapping in the cup then it may be that you measure bigger than you need. Are you scooping to ensure that all your breast tissue is in the cups?

What styles of bra are you wearing?

Sorry, school run, tea and bedtimes took over for a while there!
Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure how to describe the style - the 32E is an old Elle macpherson (intimates?) one which is just stretchy material with not much shape. I was thinking the cup was big,but now I'm wondering if it's just that there's less support than I'd expect in a molded bra? The others I usually wear are 34DDs t-shirt style (which I prefer) but the bands are definitely too baggy now. Just wondered if there were any narrower band bf bras out there, as it's normally hard enough finding the narrow ones!

I've never BF so have no personal experience but I know Bravissimo stock BF bras and Hot Milk are meant to be good too.

Size wise you'll definitely get ore support from a 30 band. The Elle MacPherson bras are lovely but aren't really designed for giving great support IYKWIM? I'm a big fan of the Cleo range (by Panache) as the bras are very 'young' in style, lots of great colours and they tend to have narrow straps and bands too. You can usually pick up discounted ones on eBay and various bra sites. The Lucy is good for shallow shaped breasts and the Lily/Marcie/Meg etc. for more projected shapes. TBH I don't find moulded bras supportive at all. It's harder to get a good fit with a moulded bra as they just tend to 'sit' there doing very little and not moulding to your actual shape.

Thanks Sorrel I've had a quick look on eBay, think I'll try a couple of cleo and adapt them - thanks for your help :)
