How to wear in peep-toe boots?

I purchased some open-toe sling back boots from Topshop last week in my usual size 5, and have tried them on today and my toes don't quite come through to the peep-toe bit. Here is the link for the shoes, if it works!

After reading the reviews people have said 'they just need wearing in a bit'. So do I wear them in by wearing them (which I wasn't planning on doing yet due to the cold weather!) and risk not being able to take them back/swap them, or does anyone else have any ideas?
I went back to the shop today to swap them for the next size up but they didn't have any of that size in stock!
Thanks in advance

Ok so I've realised I can't post links properly on the app for some reason! On the Topshop website, the boots are called 'Barton Mid-Heel Shoes' if anyone does want to have a look Grin

Your toes are on show, so they have to look lovely.
On a more sensible note, I got some peep toe boots years ago. They had three styles in the shop. Two looked dreadful with my shape of foot, too much toe showing, too little toe showing, just yuck. One pair looked great, I have worn them to destruction. You have to get the pair that suits your foot.
You may have to tuck them to one side for a few days and go on a peep toe boot marathon trying on session. If you find some you like more buy those and send the topshop ones back. You sound unsure, so the topshop ones are probably the wrong ones.

If they're a bit tight do the bed socks and hairdryer trick then leave them over night with something shoved in the toe. I use vaseline on my cuticles too when I wear peep toes providing they aren't going to be ruined by it as I have had many a bad experience with my toe skin being torn off by stitching or a not peepy enough toe and too much friction!
