I need a bra intervention

What am I looking for? I've been buying bras from Asda for three years as I've not had a chance to get to a proper shop to be measured. I've recently lost a bit of weight and my 34F bra is gapey at the cups and rides up my back . I just need some advice. Where do I go for a proper fitting and good selection of bras?

I recently went to House of Fraser and had a really good fitter and because they have a big selection of brands you'll get to try loads of styles/cuts.

Made me realise how bad M&S is - bad fitting service and every bra is essentially the same (and totally wrong for my shape).

i found john lewis to be good at fitting too, if there is no HoF or bravissimo near you.

thebetterbracampaign.blogspot.co.uk/p/fitting-advice.html?m=1 - tells you how to measure

Bravissimo

I've used House of Fraser (well, Jenners) and they've been fairly good.

Agree with others - avoid M&S. They tried to put me in a 36D when I was a 32F Hmm

My bra size is currently fairly stable, so I keep an eye on Figleaves as you can get some pretty good deals in their sales.

TBH you can do as much for yourself if you learn to measure. A bra riding up at the back sounds too big across the bad, and the cups sound too big too.

Measure under your boobs tightly- my measurement is 29-30
Measure round your boobs leaning over at 45 degrees so they dangle Hmm
The difference is a cup size per inch difference.
I am 35 round centre of boobs and depending on the bran, wear a 30DD or 32D.

Thanks for all the replies. I was wondering about the back riding up thingy as I was fitted for a bra in M&S and that was still happening. So uncomfortable.
I'll try measuring myself before I go so I have a rough idea of what size I'm looking for. I've not measured myself at a 45 degree angle before so that must be what i'm doing wrong. After three kids they're a different shape in a bra than without so that's why my measurements must be off.

90 degree, you need to let the boobs hang. And yes, if you were fitted by M&S, you probably need about 2 back sizes smaller and several cup sizes up.
