Stylish cross body bag for travel with DCs any ideas?

This may well be too much to ask as I have form for looking for one bag that fulfils a multitude of requirements.
Off on holiday next month - only Portugal so short haul - and would love a bag that is practical for travel and day times - ie normally carrying snacks / toys whatever else the 2 DC need around - but is nice enough that I would still use it throughout summer casual days at work etc.
I have a few cross body bags - but can't see anything at the moment that fulfils the practical and stylish requirements in a versatile spring colour.
Help?
Budget is probably quite mean but could be persuaded to upgrade if I loved something enough.
The kind of places I have looked are whistles / mint velvet/ boden.

At the moment am wondering if I need to give up and get a backpack for practicality then I could have a smaller handbag.
Am as confused as I sound!

Have a look at the Kipling website

I recently got an Overland Equipment bag to replace my Kipling crossbody. Apparently lots of American mums really like OE bags for travel and everyday stuff with kids. Their own website doesn't ship to Europe, but their bags are available on amazon and ebags and some other places that do.

I usually use a back pack with a smaller cross body bag when I have stuff to lug around. It feels a lot more balanced, especially when you need to get down to kid level, every so often. It makes my neck ache if I shove too much in my cross body bag.

I use Kipling and Mia Tui cross-body bags. Would they be to your taste?

Thanks for replies - am investigating!
ouryve that's true maybe I will go for two bags then I won't care as much if the larger one isn't stylish especially if it's on my back and I can't see it!

This one is surprisingly roomy:

Have you tried Fossil bags?

I've got a decent sized oilcloth cross body which I can shove a fair amount of kids stuff in but is still nice when I use it as a normal person bag.
