Is this maternity jumpsuit nice or ridiculous?

Here - be kind, I'm hormonal and also bored of leggings and maternity jeans.

I'd wear with flat sandals, long necklace like in pic and a black crossbody bag for daytime - don't get out in evenings a huge amount atm and heels too uncomfy now. I'm a size 10, 12 probably now and 27 weeks pg.

Might be too much like pyjamas without the heels? I'm not fashionable though.

tethersend · 08/03/2015 13:07

I think it's great.

Although the little window at the back would have showed off my massive support pants a treat Grin

SirChenjin · 08/03/2015 13:12

I don't like it - especially the cut out bit at the back, and it's too tight so clings to the bump too much. If you are tall and slim like the model then I imagine you could probably just about get away with it though.

Kittykatmacbill · 08/03/2015 13:16

I would have looked like a Zeppelin in their jammies in it. Good on ya if you can get away with it!
I found that naice yoga / harem pants were the way to go when I was pregnant in the spring summer, more cheering than leggings some how.

cedricsneer · 08/03/2015 13:27

Sorry, but it's horrible. Viscose and elastine, stretchy over the bump and unflattering even on the model. I don't think a size 6 could look good in it.

This kind of thing is much nicer hatch

Oly4 · 08/03/2015 13:29

Don't like it, sorry! I'm all for fitted maternity wear but I think it would be unflattering

pieceofpurplesky · 08/03/2015 13:30

Regardless if whether it's nice or not I would have wet myself before I got it off!

BackforGood · 08/03/2015 13:33

What SirChenjin said.

and Pieceof makes a good point Wink

WindYourBobbinUp · 08/03/2015 13:33

I was about to say what purplesky said. Jumpsuits are a pain not pregnant, I can't imagine the toilet situation pregnant!

BallroomWithNoBalls · 08/03/2015 13:36

I think I just want it because it looks comfy! And I would size up so it doesn't cling to bump. I'm not convinced by the window at the back either...

I might order it and see. I'll post a pic for your amusement if it's awful. I am rapidly reaching the waddling stage so maybe I should just give up on interesting fashion and just wear what I've got, and save my pennies for a new post baby wardrobe.

Actually I might have stretch marks which could be seen through that window Blush a vest would be key I think.

Hmm at peeing issue, hadn't thought of that!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/03/2015 13:39

No, I honestly don't think it will work, sorry. It looks awful, even on the model - and she's probably a size 4 and 18 feet tall.

A dress, or a tube maxi skirt and loose top, would be just as comfortable, much more flattering, and won't give you toilet issues.

AmberNectarine · 08/03/2015 13:49

Yes I'm afraid I agree with the general consensus - you could do better I think.

Have you considered dungarees? Wink

Shlurpbop · 08/03/2015 13:59

Ooh no. I fear there'd be some major camel toe going on with that, and the opening at the back looks like a hole to allow farts to escape (I was very windy when pregnant!)

BerniceBroadside · 08/03/2015 14:02

God, no! It's just a set of ears away from being a hippo costume.

cedricsneer · 08/03/2015 15:31

And it's dragging her boobs down until they look droopy and flat.
