Best make up for sensitive dry skin prone to redness

I have dry, sensitive skin and vascular rosacea. I have tried many beauty products over the years and find after time they lose effectiveness or I develop a reaction. My current moisturiser is Avene skin calming cream and a little Nivea Soft. As a foundation I use La Roche Posay's CC cream which gives good coverage until I have a vascular flare up. I also use Clinique's redness solutions powder to fix the foundation or for light coverage on non make up days. I have recently developed a red patch on my right cheek amd my regular make up does not seem to cover it so am looking for recommendations for a foundation that will increase coverage yet not irritate or dry out my skin further. I would also love to hear about any miracle moisturising creams that might improve my overall skin quality.

I use Dr Haushka s . It is very very gentle on my skin.
Many brands makes my skin react badly.
I also find organic rosehip oil very good and non irritating.

You could try Chantecaille future skin (I have been able to use that where I can't use anything else). Super dear though! One thing I will say is that - crapping myself - they recently reformulated and I've not been able to try the new version yet! Make sure you either get a sample or clarify that you can return in the case of reaction (if you decide to buy). I am sure that companies are legally bound to refund in the case of a reaction. You can get it in some Space NK stores, Liberty, Fenwicks (some not all), Harrods etc

If you are happy with the stuff you normally use (may I ask what?) then you could apply this before your foundation to conceal the patch:

See ingredients on this site and read reviews, as well as being able to buy.

thank you all for your replies. I tried Dr Haushka's and it just did not agree with me. Thank you for the Chantecaille recommendation - I will certainly look into it.

LeoandBoosmum what I am currently using is La RochePosay CC cream which I like but doesn't give enough coverage when I am having a flare up. The idea of using a concealer had never even occurred to me!!!

I use Nivea thick blue pot every day, and wait for it to soak in while I dress - then a primer and a light serum foundation. Any powder type product just irritates my skin. Cream blush. Nivea Soft I found very irritating. Sunblock also a must, my skin is much hardier since I have been using it daily.
