I'm about to have my second baby and had approximately a two week gap between stopping breastfeeding with the first and getting pregnant with the second one. So, I've avoided AHAs because of
breastfeeding and pregnancy for about three years now.
I need to do something now though.
I'm due in three weeks and just need to know if Estée Lauder advanced night repair serum is still any good and if it's reasonable to use while breastfeeding.
Thanks very much.

I'm not surprised that you are feeling so tired x have you tried serums? They can plump up your skin. Perhaps an exfoliator would help too x I felt/ looked rubbish towards the ends of both my pregnancies. Having my hair done when I got a moment helped.

Dior Glow Maximiser primer is very good for perking up your skin - just put it on under tinted moisturiser/foundation. Also, Clarins Instant Light concealer is really good at hiding my very dark eye circles (v stressful at work right now so I rarely sleep more than 4 hours a night Sad

Thanks very much for the replies. Saurus, that sounds v tough. I use a Dior foundation - Capture serum or something that I'm v v happy with, so will look at the primer as well.
I'm really keen to re start using decent skin care - I used to use Estée Lauder advanced night repair serum, particularly the eye cream with it, as my eyes are getting creepy and have a lot of fine lines.
Just wondered if anyone knew if it's ok to use when breastfeeding.

It's fine! It's only retinoids you have to be careful about and BHAs, so you can use AHAs to exfoliate. I'm pregnant and at the feeling like a bloated puffy whale stage and have just invested in some AHA night cream from Bravura London. And a full head of highlights, and some luminizing primer - just Bourjois. I am determined not to look quite as shit this time around (second timer here too!) and sleep helps if you can get any.

I have no scientific evidence, so this is just my opinion. I never stopped using normal face creams while Bf. Surely they cannot be THAT strong as to affect your milk
