Best serum and eye cream - £50 to spend

Hoping that MN can help me out. I've got about £50 in Boots advantage card points to spend and want to get a decent serum and eye cream.
Am 39, skin a bit sensitive and prone to rosacea on nose and cheeks, but otherwise not too bad. Currently use a hot cloth cleanser (superdrug vit e or simple), nivea soft and simple eye balm.
I would like something that will just brighten and smooth my skin without irritating the sensitive patches.
Any advice?

Anyone? I'd really appreciate some help, I've searched on here and online in general and the choice is mind boggling!

Estée Lauder advanced night repair can be used morning and evening. Any old moisturiser with spf.

Or use Una Brennan vitamin C serum and then Hudralon (sp?) serum from indeed labs on top in the morn before moisturiser.

All available in boots.

Thanks very much, I may go for the EL night repair, it is obviously a classic for good reason. Have never spent so much on one product though. Will have to look for a budget eye cream option.

The other two serums, you use then both under moisturiser?

Is it £50 total or each? I'd really recommen L'Oreal Revitalift, the eye cream and serum have made a big difference for me, and their day cream is SPF 30.

I wouldn't bother with eye cream. Just use the serum and a moisturiser. I think eye creams are a bit of a con

And yes, serum(s) under moisturiser.

Clarins double serum is wonderful.

GoingToBedfordshire · 22/02/2015 20:21

£50 is for both, but will skip the eye cream for now and see how I get on with the serum.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
