Capsule wardrobe - moving to SE Asia

Am moving to SE Asia in a few months so need to get together a capsule wardrobe... need inspiration/suggestions of online retailers that have a good range?? Have got 2 young kiddies so minimal opportunities for long shopping trips - though I will pop into H&M and Zara when I have a chance for some classic basics.

Will not be working straight away so just need to have a stylish/casual young mum wardrobe for now.

Muslim country (Brunei) so need to be reasonably well covered. Am 12/14 and slightly chunky of leg. Prefer seperates as I will still be breastfeeding baby DD. Am thinking loose/flowing skirts and pants in natural fibres?

For tops I will prob order a few more cotton nursing tops from BoobDesign and Babes with Babies. Then was thinking lightweight drapey kimono/wrap things to cover shoulders and upper arms?

Don't want to look like a Brit on holiday Grin if you know what I mean. Classic tones and colours, drapey and cool. But not dumpy!

Had a look on Asos but didn't see a lot that wasn't synthetic or too tight/festivaley.... argh!

Can anyone point me in the right direction?!

Don't try to wear wraps etc if it's not your actual style. I used to live in SE Asia and mostly wore distressed skinnies, long sleeved jersey tops or cotton blouses / shirts (which you can buy there but obv stock up, I'd say Uniqlo good for basic tops) and some simple jewellery. Shoes you can enjoy a little more - I usually had nice strappy sandals on. Humidity means hair best tied back, and showering twice a day if you're not always in air conditioned buildings. Or simple dresses that cover shoulders and knees. If you're style / fashion conscious, you will still be able to be over there - just in a more modest way. I lost loads of weight there too as so hot and lovely healthy food! So nice to float about not feeling all hot and sticky, but I always felt more 'me' in jeans. Tube skirts also a good basic - Hush are good for cotton jersey loosish ones that look good with a plain long sleeved top and some nice sandals, maybe some sparkly strappy flats, that kind of thing. Although you should dress modestly, you will (assuming you are white) stick out anyway so people won't expect you to dress Asian style. I think simple is key though - you will look like a tourist if you wear layers of floaty hippyish things and jewellery from market stalls! And a good bag and sunnies always good.

thanks Ballroom! sorry took me so long to reply, kids have vomiting bug arrrrgh

defo am a simple/stripes/neutral tones, tops and skinny jeans kind of person. Might take me a while to acclimatise though!! found some great blogs about dressing appropriately/stylishly in tropics.

any suggestions on comfy sandals that look great?? I was thinking lightweight brightly coloured sneaker/sketcher type things and a couple of pairs of leather sandals
