Clinique Sonic - or baby hairbrush?!

I am mulling over buying the Clinique Sonuc but it is expensive....

Do you love yours? I have dry skin that needs exfoliation for my moisturiser to work.

It got me wondering whether gentle massage with a soft baby hairbrush would work just as well Grin

I don't know about the sonic brushes but I do know that some people use disposable kiddies battery operated tooth brushes. Gently.

What about liquid exfoliators? Clarins do a good one which I like. I use it 2/3 times a week. No scrubbing required.

Rio sonicleanse from Amazon is good value.

The boots one is good, and cheaper, much cheaper than the clinique one.

Body shop do a little circular manual one and it comes in at about 5£.

I took the plunge and bought the Clinique sonic and I love it. Some of the cheaper ones aren't sonic just rotating brushes. But I was keen to try sonic. The clarisonic was very expensive sotis was a good halfway house. My skin is definitely brighter and I've noticed a real difference in how my skin is taking up moisturiser. I'm pleased I took the plunge.

My skins not too bad. Slightly oily t zone, prone to the odd spot. It was looking very dull which was my main gripe. Tried all manner of things but nothing seemed to lift it. It does look much brighter now, I think. Ive had fewer breakouts. Don't get me wrong, nobody's running up to me gushing about how fabulous I look and what's my secret but I feel the the tone is evened out and I've lost the slightly grey look. It feels softer and smoother too. Definite improvement.

I got the clinique one for Christmas & love it. My skin is so soft now & I'm making more of an effory each night with cleansing, moisturising etc. One of my freebies was the serum which is lovely too over moisturiser. Skin feels great in the mornings. Was looking very dull & grey (6 months post-partum)

It's waterproof so I use it in the shower, very convenient!

I love my Clinique brush. I have dry but congested skin and it has helped so much.

Debenhams has a Bonus Time on at the mo (online and instore).

Mmmm. Thanks.

I am using a Denman baby hairbrush right now and it has definitely made a difference.

I don't know how much better the Clinique would be!

I bought the Rio one from amazon after a recommendation on here - I love it - it's definitely made my skin look brighter and smoother and is a lot cheaper than the Clinique one

I have. An old model clarisonic, I read recently the Clinique one came up worst in a which test as the handle vibrated more than the brush did. If it,works for you then it's personal taste but the aldi one didn't do well as it was very harsh.
