Now do you store your jewellery?

I've got a jewellery box with a few pull out sections but it's pretty full now. I've got quite a few necklaces which I keep in the original box they came in. Not sure if should buy a bigger jewellery box.

I also have a dressing table stand for my cheap and cheerful jewellery but I like to keep my good stuff put away.

Also, what do you do with jewellery you have gone off or don't wear any more?

I keep my posh stuff in a sock Shock

I've got the Lori Greiner jewellery cabinet from qvc - it's anti tarnish so the lining prevents silver from getting tarnished.

It's fab and full Blush even though it probably holds about 400 pieces of jewellery

I have a floor standing, circular chest of drawers. Each drawer has a category: ear-rings, bracelets, silver necklaces, etc

Carpaccio · 26/01/2015 21:57

I have boxes for most of my jewellery.
The rest is stored in some small acrylic drawers (similar to the Muji ones) and I have some vintage pieces that I like having on display so they are in a glass box next to all the other jewellery.
The stuff I wear every day and that I don't want to put away every day, I have on a small tray on my makeup table.
If I take jewellery with me, I store it in a jewellery roll.

I have one of 'little black dress' hangers with loads if pockets that goes nicely into the wardrobe. I pick out my jewellery when I pick my outfit.

frankietwospots · 26/01/2015 22:31

My jewellery is just all jumpled together in a drawer. What I really need in my life is one of these: www.muji.eu/pages/online.asp?Sec=9&Sub=39&PID=6000

DH gave me a lovely Stackers set for Christmas.

DuchessDisaster · 26/01/2015 22:40

My jewellery is mostly stored in a dedicated box, locked away in the safe. I review from time to time, according to what I am wearing and what I am doing and swap things.
When travelling I just have a velvet roll up that my aunt gave me, which goes in my suitcase.

I have three Ikea Godmorgan sets in a drawer. They help keep everything sorted by colour too.

I looked at those stackers sets cointreau - how do they fit together?

I have a beautiful wooden Lindley jewellery box but it is empty bar costume jewellery as I keep most pieces in the safe.

BritabroadinAsia · 27/01/2015 00:21

Yy, frankie, you do - they are great. You can see everything easily, and they have smaller inserts to divide up the drawers for earrings etc too... Big fan.

HappyGirlNow · 27/01/2015 07:51

I just bought this dressing table and the two drawers at the top are huge and have dividers in them.. All my jewellery is in there. Love it Grin

I got a beautiful Stackers jewellery box for Christmas too Cointreau mine is brown with purple lining and I love it. I have 4 trays but probably need another one with the small sections. I have lots of earrings Grin

I use stackers. You used to be able to get them at John Lewis. Not sure if you still can.
You can have as many different combinations as you like so if you are a bit ring heavy- not wasting space on chain holders etc.

The naice stuff is kept in a safe though. Not very pretty but I'd rather be on the safe side.

Dancergirl · 27/01/2015 21:09

I really like the look of the stackers ones. John Lewis do still sell them.

Now can I justify buying a set in the interests of 'tidyness' or 'storage'? I've just had my birthday and Xmas is ages away!

You've all reminded me that we've been planning to get a house safe for years and still haven't got round to it.

Another vote for stackers, great that you can buy the trays to suit your need. I bought mine on Amazon though, might be worth checking prices and colour options there?

CointreauVersial · 27/01/2015 22:21

Dancergirl - the Stackers set basically..... stacks! The trays fit neatly on top of each other, so you just need one tray with a lid, and the rest stack underneath. But they don't fix to each other, so you can't pick the whole lot up like a box.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 27/01/2015 23:09

In one of my draws.
