tis fierce bad. So fine I look bald and at 5' everyone can see the top of my head. A colleague mocked once saying I was going bald. Any suggestions. Please.

Please get your thyroid tested - someone dear to me had a few bald.patches and she has needed thyroid medication - it is growing back. She uses those flakes I think you've mentioned above, nanogen I think they are called, and they do help to conceal while she is waiting for it to grow back fully

Even if yours isn't due to thyroid, I hope your GP can help by referring you to the right team. Best of luck getting it sorted . (btw yes colleague is a total asshole, who on earth even would mention it!!?)

Definitely go back to the doctor. I have thinning hair at the front (great! Looks like when ould fellas recede in a v shape ).

I take iron and b vitamins daily and have noticed some improvement three months in.

Also thank you for making me smile and think of my Irish granny when you said 'tis fierce bad'
