Have been wearing maternity bras for the last two years! I feel I've got into a rut of soft and comfy bras.

I used to wear plunge, padded, underwired bras but haven't been able to tolerate them since being pregnant or since. Dd is 6 weeks.

I would like a nice padded t-shirt bra but not one that is underwired.

Am open to suggestions of nice bras.

Need comfortable but will also give me a good shape. The maternity bras just aren't doing much for confidence!

What do you wear so I can google?

I like these... Comfy, supportive, good amount of padding and was really well x

First things first, do you know your correct size?

Underwired bras, if fitted correctly shouldn't be uncomfortable.

Do you want a normal bra or a nursing bra? Hot Milk do some plunge type padded nursing bras.

Victoria's secret. Enough padding to stop my nips taking someone's eye out but without turning me into Jordan I'm already a DD so don't need enhancement, good shape, nice support, and pretty too

Ha ha was going to suggest my maternity bras. Bravado seamless tanks. I haven't breast fed for 6 months but I still wear them at weekends as they are so so comfy !

Also, I just remembered - if your DD is only 6 weeks (congratulations! ) you might want to hold off bra buying for a wee bit longer because your ribs will shrink down again. I can't remember how long it took after DS was born, but I tried measuring myself for a bra shortly after giving birth, and then again a few weeks later and I had shrunk by 2 inches to be the same size as pre-pg. Only on my ribs, mind!

Oh, and you really really need to listen to the bra intervention ladies! Have a look at Sorrel's link. I promise that it works even if it sounds like it gives you a weird enormous bra size.

Freya. Pretty and give a nice shape.

I measured myself properly after my children because of all the intervention threads and found I am a 34 E rather than the 38 C I 'd been wearing before. That's made a huge difference to how I look and feel in a bra.

Best bras ever. Various colours and so comfy.

I really like Bendon bras, first maternity bra I've found that is comfy, looks like a nice t-shirt bra and gives a decent shape. They are an Aussie company but do stock in the UK. Plus I'm pretty sure they have a big sale on at the moment Smile

You need to first check your size and then consider breast shape. What is a comfortable bra on one person might not be on you, and vice versa. It depends on breast width, breast depth or projection how big the gap is between them, how high or low your roots are, how tall your torso is, the shape of your ribcage...

I only wear genie bras now, google them. So comfy, I love them.
