Tell me what it is please?

I have lots of fine dry highlighted hair that is always a bit straggly at the ends, I need some tlc. I blow dry and don't use irons anymore which has helped a bit.

I do occasionally find one I love - Joico K-Pak, Kerastase Ciment one - but my hair seems to get used to them quickly.

I'm not up for going silicon free although I limit it in styling (Extraordinary Oil only for nights out etc) but open to suggestions.

And I do weekly coconut oil soaks which definitely strengthens it.

Angel Wash sound lush but OMG that packaging! Would drive me mad.

Very cheap but I love the garnier ultimate blends sleek restorer. It's in a brown bottle & I use the shampoo, conditioner, oil & treatment mask. Love it & I have very fine, coloured hair.
If you aware using stuff with silicone in then the coconut oil won't be able to do much, maybe using a clarifying shampoo before your coconut oil will help?

I use Aveda volumising and Aussie conditioner for coloured hair. I have very thin, dry hair that is prone to breaking and being a bit frizzy and after a lot of trials of different products I have found this combo to work the best for me. I can't use SLS shampoos though as it really irritates my scalp so I was trialing from a limited range to start with. Also I vary rarely blow dry.

The trick with Aveda is to use less of it than you would of a supermarket shampoo, it actually worked out to be reasonably cost effective when I worked out the correct amount for my hair.

try the alberto balsam raspberry one. Its one of the cheapest you can get. The shampoo and conditioner have worked wonders on my dds straggly hair and its only about a quid a bottle but has worked better than any kf the expensive ones ive tried

i've got blonde highlights and use Joico Colour Endure which is SLS free. I love it.

I've used aveda but cannot justify price anymore. I blow dry my wavy, frizzy hair straight and find that Aussie shine shampoo and three minute miracle conditioner is ace especially if I leave overnight.

I also do tiana coconut oil with argan once a week. Totally love Kevin Murphy products and would not be without young again serum expensive but lasts ages.

L'oreal professionel Volumetry shampoo and conditioner. Its nicely volumising and has a bit of salycilic acid in it which keeps my scalp nicely lump and flake free. I have mild psoriasis on my scalp and this stuff is great. You can get the shampoo in huge 1.5l bottles for under £20
