I liked Anna Kendrick's dress.
Loved Emma Stone and Lorde in tuxes.
Less keen on Keira's butterfies.
Liked one of the yellow dresses but forgotten whoWink
Amy Adams looked lovely in lilac.
But much of the white/silver and cutouts went by me, red dresses were a bit boring and lots of outfits ruined by belts.
Thoughts?

Kate Beckinsale is very J-Lo in that dress but it's a bit too glitzy for me.

tak1ngchances · 12/01/2015 13:49

Am looking at all the pics on daily fail again. Bleddy hell Giuliana rancic is terribly thin isn't she? I know she had breast cancer but she seemed to be doing alright. Hope her health is ok

magicstar1 · 12/01/2015 13:52

I thought Kate Hudson looked absolutely amazing!

MrsMarigold · 12/01/2015 14:08

Is fake tan definitely out then? they're (almost) all channelling the pasty look.

Lana Del Rey and all those others in pleated things - they look like they are made of polyester awful.

Rosamund Pike's hair is also a bit non-descript but surely someone should've told her that dress is hideous - poor girl.

Also some of the men had trousers on that were just too long.

squoosh · 12/01/2015 14:11

Yes fake tan is now considered a bit déclassé on the red carpet. The British Soap Awards red carpet is probably still awash with the stuff.

squoosh · 12/01/2015 14:12

Lana Del Ray needs to step away from the surgeon's knife. Her face is beginning to look odd.

It is a pity LDR used to be so beautiful. I wish they would take inspiration from women like Charlotte Rampling she is a great example of ageing gracefully.

Charlotte Rampling

Cocolepew · 12/01/2015 15:09

Eddie R and KKs husband look like they are mitching games to be there.

Amal certainly took like a duck to water where there is a camera.

Lottapianos · 12/01/2015 15:25

I actually love Ruth Wilson's dress - I think its really cool and a brave change from boring black

Also quite like Keira's dress - the butterflies are cute and its a good shape for her very slim figure

squoosh · 12/01/2015 15:30

I think Ruth's dress looks too tight on her (as well as looking like an inside out chair cover).

OttiliaVonBCup · 12/01/2015 16:40

Amal's gloves look so out of place, there's a photo of her holding hands with George Clooney and looks bizarre.
He was so cringeworthy with his speech.
He's definitely going for a political career.

LollyLondon · 12/01/2015 17:07

My best dress vote goes to Sophie Hunter - gorgeous!

Good on Rosamund Pike for looking so polished a few weeks after having a baby. Really didn't like the dress, but she is really beautiful.

Didn't like Amal's dress, She's so fragile looking, something a bit more voluminous may have worked better.

Keira Knightley's dress was hideous!

bryonyelf · 12/01/2015 17:09

Mostly horrid. Eddie redmayne's wife and Joanne frogart both look lovely but the best dressed for me is kate beckinsale.

EachandEveryone · 12/01/2015 18:09

I miss Joan

EachandEveryone · 12/01/2015 18:34

Are you watch g fashion police tonight? I love Kathy Griffin I hope she's good.

oobedobe · 12/01/2015 19:56

I loved Julianne Moore, Naomi Watts, Kate Hudson, Emma Stone, Jessica Chastain, Amy Adams, Felicity Jones, Reece, Kelly Osbourne, Salma (does she ever age!?)

I disliked Rosamund Pike (very unflattering - I think she was trying to go for a liz hurley statement dress), Keira Knightley was frumpy and awful, Amal was boring as was Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth looked tacky in pink.

Overall very few standout dresses and lots of dull ones. Will be watching Fashion Police later for their verdict.

BeaLola · 13/01/2015 01:05

I just wanted to hike Rosamunds dress up a few inches - it looked like the straps were too low, even having hiked it up I still think it a strange choice. I agree Sienna Miller looks completely different. I liked Jamie Dorans wife dress. I thought Emily Blunt looked polished but I didn't like the style and overall I think white a hard colour to pull off at these events. Mrs Redmayne needed a little finishing but could look amazing. Thee wasn't one wow dress for me. Roll on the oscars !

Nancy66 · 13/01/2015 12:01

I loved Sienna Miller - she's messing about with her lips though and going all pouty and it looks awful

other faves: Naomi Watts, Emma Stone and Julianne Moore.

Kate Beckingsale always looks too 'wag' for me
