I want to go to bed but I also really want the wrap skirt !!!

I was toying with relaxed trousers but the reviews said they were really thin so have taken them off.

HalleLouja · 06/01/2015 10:10

Am tempted by the wrap skirt and the short suede boots. Also maybe a jumper...

AmeliaPeabody · 06/01/2015 10:19

I stayed up as I wanted to buy one of the Rosie dresses (long jumper with short-ish silk skirt attached). I did manage to get it but not in the colour I preferred.

Bumblebzz · 06/01/2015 10:19

Personally I think the sale is very disappointing, and I wish I had bought during the 20% off pre-sale as lost of items have gone back up to full price now so are more expensive during the "sale" period than they were just prior.
I've just perused the whole Sale section and will buy nothing.
I notice many of the Sale items are those with negative reviews (i.e. knitwear with bobbling issues, etc).
Hopefully they'll add more lines.

If I like Hush (which I do, and had bought quite a bit in the Autumn, just don't fancy paying full price now) what other shops would I like too?

PrimalLass · 06/01/2015 12:04

I ordered a pile but using paypal pay on delivery (14 days before the money comes out). So hopefully it will be here and sent back again before the 14 days.

Turquoiseblue · 06/01/2015 12:23

Bumble - you might like wrap? But I think lots on here have had problems with their delivery/ returns.
In the cold light of day I m regretting some of my order now so might end up returning a lot of it. I just don't think the dry clean viscose is worth it.

bumble, try uniqlo.

SmileAndNod · 06/01/2015 18:57

Can you use free returns labels from previous orders during the sale do you know? And does anyone know what their jeans are like?

I ordered three henley dresses earlier this winter but all were sent back due to poor quality.

Shopgirl1 · 06/01/2015 19:44

I think the sale is pretty poor. I got the cashmere leopard scarf, ruched skirt and some vests in the 20% off pre sale...glad I did as the scarf is sold out and skirt not reduced. I'm happy with these, but wouldn't buy jumpers from them again, one I got last winter wore awfully.

MakeMeWarmThisWinter · 06/01/2015 20:21

I was planning to order the Freya dress in powder for summer but bloody viscose! Hate the stuff. Dry clean only for a day dress is ridiculous. This is the first year in a while I haven't ordered from their sale. Just not that keen on a lot of the stuff this season. Looking forward to the new season stock though. I have the cotton elastane 3/4 sleeve dip hem dress in two colours - cobalt, and black and white stripes - and really want it in charcoal or black too.

Tbh I think it's the young and grumpy new model that has put me off Grin she doesn't exude glamour like the previous one did. She looks gloomy and pissed off and I want to wash her hair.

MakeMeWarmThisWinter · 06/01/2015 20:23

Yes to Uniqlo - I emulate the Hush look with their stuff, it's better quality and cheaper. Currently in an oversized navy fisherman rib sweater from Uniqlo with black Sainsbos leggings and Hush bedsocks.

toastandmarmiterocks · 06/01/2015 20:31

I bought the Henley dress in the per sale 20% offer. It arrived yesterday and although I haven't worn it yet, I do like it. However, it's pretty huge. For the moment that's fine, hide the excess Christmas bulge...

Bumblebzz · 07/01/2015 22:17

Thanks for the tips, I had forgotten I do like uniqlo. Have never tried mint velvet or wrap but will take a look.
FWIW I think the long length Hush tanks and similar long sleeved tops are excellent quality, I stocked up on them earlier in the season and they are great for layering (quite stretchy and fitted/ruched).
Unfortunately any knitwear I bought got returned, and now I really want a nice cashmere jumper or cardi. Ideally in the sales..

PrimalLass · 09/01/2015 12:24

I like my order more than I thought I would. I ordered the blue scarf with birds on thinking that the size and fabric mix were like Becksondergaard so I might like it. It is Becksondergaard!!

The Henley dresses are nice but the navy one is much smaller than the grey. I do like the grey one and need to decide in the next 20 mins whether to keep it I have it on and it is very comfy

The caramel-coloured Henley jumper is lovely but not my colour.

The teal/turquoise Amy dress is also nice but too long.

The cotton arm warmers are not worth £20. I could make the same thing from an old jumper and probably will.

I've ordered the blue bird scarf too! That and a couple of mini skirts and a quilted sweatshirt. I have the wristwarmers - I love them but they're not wearing very well. Not worth the price. I might have a go at making some from an old jumper, primal!

Bumblebzz · 10/01/2015 07:00

Lol the only thing I tried to order was that scarf but it was OOS.. :)
