Wide calf fitting knee high boots!

Can anyone help? I desperately want a pair of dark brown or black knee high riding style boots but struggling due to needing wide fitting cause of chunky calfs.. Blush
I tried Evans but even they were tight and only other option was the ones with the big panel of elastic at the back/sides Confused

Am I destined to be wearing ankle boots?

I found duo were too small on the ankle and narrow on the foot
I got some K ones from Clarks outlet for £60 and they are fab, I wear them constantly

I have 18''calves and these Fly Yust fit fine.
I also have these M&S Autograph ones from a few years ago which have lasted well and have not needed re-soling yet.

These aren't leather, but are fantastic and fit v. large calves.

TheHappinessTrap · 04/01/2015 17:03

Purplecircle, may I ask the circumference of your calves? I'm 43 cm / 17 inches and would love it if I could find some clarks. What are "k" boots?

I've had my Duo boots for almost a week now & they're lovely. Obviously can't comment on how long they'll last but they look nice, fit great & are comfortable Smile

Thanks for this thread. Just ordered some knee high wedge boots in the duo sale for £60 inc delivery. Hope they fit!

I agree with TheHappiness; Duo's quality isn't brilliant.

I bought two pairs of long boots and they looked dreadful in a short period of time. The worst bit was that they bunched at the back of the heel in two months and were super sore to wear.

My duo boots have arrived. Got to be honest, they looked much nicer online. Bought brown leather and they look a bit patchy. Fit seems good though. I think if I had free returns (not available on sale items) I'd be inclined to send them back but it would cost a fortune and they only cost £60 (inc postage) in the first place. They seem quite solid and well made - time will tell, I guess.
