It is my birthday on friday and I am getting £100 off my mum to go shopping. Money has, and will continue to be, really tight so this is a mega treat!

What would you get? I want to feel like I have got loads of stuff, but not primark crap stuff either. Am thinking 5 items at £20 each that have been reduced down?

I am a size 14, humongous boobs, and am 5ft 2 with pale grey skin and a short blonde nothingy hair bob. I would love something classic, elegant and that will transform me from knackered single mother into fabulous 34 (!!!) year old!

What shops would you all recommend? Is there any item in particular you think I should get?

I am sooo excited by this!

Ooh Pinterest is great!

From looking at your board, I'd put these three items in my list:

  1. Jeans. Allocated more than twenty pounds for this. Try on many from different shops until you find ones that fit well.
  2. Nice scarf. Usually go on sale at this time of year so should be able to get one sub 10 pounds.
  3. Jumper. Again look for sales on the high street. My favourite casual chunky jumper is from Gap. Uniqlo is always good for simpler ones too.
