I'm an itchy eyed contact lens wearer and I've tried loads of v high end mascaras, all of with left me panda eyed except for Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara. 'Tis fab.

OP, is there any chance you're applying mascara too soon after moisturising the eye area?

ReallyBadParty · 29/12/2014 21:00

You need this djv

ElizabethHoover · 29/12/2014 21:02

are you putting on moisturiser under your eyes?

Lilacflower · 29/12/2014 21:04

I get this too and I have dry skin. The only one that doesn't smudge or flake on me is Max Factor 2000 calorie.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 29/12/2014 21:26

I've just changed from Max Factor to a Rimmel mascara and it's awful, it leaves little flakes all over my face and gets in my eyes. I thought perhaps it was faulty?

Tubing!

I work in a hot environment, and it's the only sort that stays put for 13+ hours. Or at all.

The number 7 gold one is good.
Trying the £5 super drug one atm. Really good brush. B-Longer.

You remove it by laying a hot flannel over your face and pulling it off. Or scrape it off in the shower. VERY satisfying.

It's lifechanging, I tells ya.

One day I'll try the Clinique. :)

I get this too... Frankly the best solution I have found is dying my lashes at a beautician using a blue/black dye... They always look great, no mascara issues.

I do use oils as moisturisers, so often make sure my eye area and lashes are dabbed with loose powder first, makes a HUGE difference.

Dior mascara and Rimmel work well for me. And Smashbox, amazing!

DoItTooJulia · 29/12/2014 22:01

The only mascara not to give me panda eyes is a £2 lidl one.

I can't get it all the time and it's not the best mascara in terms of coverage, but it doesn't migrate down my face!

itsnothingoriginal · 30/12/2014 10:04

Grin I came on to say the Lidl one! Was very surprised when it didn't run as I always get the panda effect with having v oily skin.
