Have been to the Hanger Lane shop. It's quite disappointing and doesn't have all the styles/sizes.

I've been to the Hanger Lane shop - didn't like it. Low on stock and although I quite like Boden, when you see the quality in real life, it all seems expensive for what it is.

There used to be 1 in Walton on Thames.

I think they could get into the concessions market like Joules etc . I am most often disappointed by the feel of the fabrics - nothing like a good feel of something before you part with your money.

I expect they have done the maths though and decided that even if we all send 99% of things back with free P&P it's still cheaper for them than overheads of a shops or concessions.

They did have a pop up shop at the Birmingham a couple of years ago but haven't heard of any since then.

I used to frequent the Walton shop, and agree with the comment about the clothes being slightly disappointing and overpriced in real life. Maybe that's why they stick with the catalogues/website - it's easier to sell the glossy lifestyle?

Why don't they sell in John Lewis if they can't be arsed with having their own shops?

Because they'd have to share the profits with JL.
