Opinions on this coat

I really like this coat. I like that it is waxed so offers some rain protection but doesn't look like a walking coat!

I buy clothes from COS, Jaeger, Zara and Toast - so this style kind of fits into the style I like. However it isn't cheap so wanted to get opinions. What do you think?

It's horrific

Dancingyogi · 14/12/2014 06:19

The tartan and navy version doesn't look too bad. The sand and plum is an awful colour combination....vomit inducing.

WilburIsSomePig · 14/12/2014 06:36

I don't like it, but if you do then go for it. I buy clothes that I think are stylish and functional for what I want them for. I couldn't care less if they have credibility with fashion critics. Their opinion is less important to me than the real people on here or in RL.

DragonRojo · 14/12/2014 15:44

it is just ugly, regardless of whoever has designed it. Sorry

LeoandBoosmum · 14/12/2014 17:15

This sound like The Emperor's New Clothes! Just because an up and coming designer is behind it doesn't make it attractive; it's not. It doesn't really have any design, it's shapeless. It's the kind of thing Tracey Emin would produce if she made clothig (thank God she doesn't!) As far as possible, clothing should be practical AND flatter! Sorry if I sound annoyed but they are taking the piss at that price!

MeganChips · 14/12/2014 17:23

Well I quite like it OP! I prefer the sand and black personally.

SparkleZilla · 14/12/2014 17:24

yuck yuck yuck - shapeless, horrible colour - think you would look as stupid as the model does. Actually looks like one of those bags you get mail in sometimes - the kind of really heavy paper with the seam sewn up at the bottom....
its as bad and overpriced as the Victoria Beckham

mrssmith79 · 14/12/2014 17:31

I'll be the lone voice then Grin I love it. More so buttoned up than with the collar splayed I admit though.

KarenHillavoidJimmyswarehouse · 14/12/2014 17:37

I like it, but like pp, prefer it buttoned up.
It's only going to look good on people built like the model though.

bishboschone · 15/12/2014 18:58

Oh dear that is bad .. Looks like something you would see in a ' they saw you coming ' type boutique ..

HopeNope · 15/12/2014 19:01

The shape is terrible. Have a look at ted baker coats.
