Very far removed from Style and Beauty, but where does one get a nice dressing gown?

I don't want a slinko sex kitten type, not least because at 5'10" they barely cover my arse
but nor do I want to look like Nora Batty - is there a middle ground?
no "fun" prints or towelling

has anyone seen anything?

Stole mine from a very lovely hotel spa.

Most places like that will sell you one if you ask for it. You don't need to steal it!

Victoria's Secret (the USA website edition not the UK shops) have nice bed wear too.

This Jigsaw one is really nice! 10% off til midnight tonight but still an eye-watering price (for me, anyway!) I think it fits your criteria. :)

I also saw a long cream one in Sainsbury's the other week. It was not towelling or that thickish velour, it was like velour...velvety and thinner, slimmer fitting. I think it was £25. May be worth a look if you're in one that does clothing.
