Has anyone here found a good treatment for broken capillaries on the face?

I have some very red marks on my face due to a skin condition I had a few years ago. I thought that the condition was just a spot and kept trying to squeeze it....on both cheeks! Nw there's a lot f redness there due to broken capillaries.

I'm very fair so they're particularly noticable. I've booked to see a private derm who does lasers in Jan...he's very, very well respected but just wondered if anyone had any natural or over the counter remedies they could reccomend too?

I'm wondering this and have been googling. You could try laser or electrolysis but they are expensive, or herbal remedy such as horse chestnut or yarrow. keeping out of the sun and less alcohol supposed to work too.

I had a session of something called Veinwave at a beauty/cosmetic clinic. It cleared the few broken capillaries around my nose and cheeks . Worked most effectively ! I now wear sunblock every day and they have not reappeared .

I had IPL (intense pulsed light) treatment which worked a treat. I am fair as well and it was a little bit uncomfortable but not unbearable. Cost about £120 five years ago. I need to go back though as I have more (the winters make more appear, especially if I go out in the wind and rain).

Lady that's hopefully what my specialist will recommend in Jan when I see him. I'm going privately but the NHS won't fix this for me so I don't mind as I know it's not really THAT bad....in my case the consultation is 100 pounds but that's redeemable against a course of treatment. I'm hoping I can pay as I go though!

Cereal I read about Yarrow too....I must get some...do you swallow it or apply it?

There is no natural remedy to fade them. Save your money for something that definitely works (laser). You'll get a great result with laser.

I can't bloody wait. I am sick of using dermablend etc. It's a pain in the arse and they ruin my face...I am so pale and they stand out a lot.

claw which shade of dermablend do you use? I find even the fair is dark orange on me.
