dry flaky skin - just behind eyebrows

Hello All Beauty Experts

So the rest of my face is generally OK skin wise but even after moisturizing I still have dry, flaky skin behind/under my eyebrows. It is not red or scabby so not thinking eczema or dermatitis just really dry skin. I do have very dry skin on my body so probably related but what to do? btw in a hot climate so not result of cold, windy weather or anything.

In the mornings I wash face with nutrogena face bar, spritz with witchhazel then apply eminence moisurizer with spf. I admit to not being great at removing make up but generally at night I use 100% pure foaming face wash then night cream like burts bees royal jelly - as you can see, not particularly brand loyal. I don't really exfoliate my face, would that help? I expect I am doing a dozen things wrong so let me have it!

Ta!

Psoriasis.

Stress related, iirc.

Put vasaline on it overnight.
I get very dry skin before and after an eczema flare up and this gets rid of it.
The witch hazel sounds too harsh for your skin, i would discontinue with that and see if theres any improvement.

Witch Hazel is very drying. I get flare ups like this. The last time was 2 weeks ago when I used a Nivea eye make up remover instead of my usual Boots Botanic one.

In the summer it happened when I tried Aldi serum.

the only thing that gets my skin back to normal when this happens is to smear on generous dollops of Sudacreme and leave overnight.

Do you wash your eyebrows, when you wash your face?

I get flaky skin around mine, if I don't.

And if you want to exfoliate, try something with salicylic acid in, rather than a scrub. It stops the dead skin that causes flakiness from building up.

hello all thanks for the replies

ok will ditch the witch hazel, could I use rosewater instead?- just want something simple, natural and inexpensive

will try vaseline at night time

what exfoliator has salicylic acid? i am not familiar with the world of exfoliators, acids, peels etc
