De-piller for knitwear?

My knitwear is so bobbly, it's embarrassing. I bought a comb thing from white stuff, but it isn't making any difference. Can anyone recommend me one please? Are the battery ones better?

I use the comb type and they are great, as well as much more gentle than the battery ones. How are you using it?

I am laying the jumper flat, holding it taut with one hand, and combing with the other hand. Fluff is coming off, but soft fluff, not the bits that are making the jumpers look so tatty.

I used a comb and it made holes!!! Beware!! It was a comb i got from amazon. The reviews were good. I didnt even realised i had made holes until i looked at it closely.

I use a mens razor blade Blush There is a knack to it but I'm very picky about looking after my clothes and it really does defuzz them well. (Just the cheap disposable ones)

I find the little battery operated one from Lakeland pretty good but you have to be careful not to go too close or it will make a hole.

It seems very expensive for what it is but the Alessi bobble shaver that looks like a penguin - search "Alessi bobble shaver" on Amazon - is really good. It's much better than the cheaper ones that I've had previously, which often seemed to make holes in the fabric.

I use a cheap disposable razor. Just stroke it over the bobbly bits gently in one direction, like raking leaves off a lawn.

I use dh's clippers. They work a treat.

BlackHeadedGull that may go on my amazon wish list for Christmas!

I really don't want to make holes. I am the person who will make holes, if there are holes to be made.
