I've fallen in love with these boots. I've found an alternative pair in Dune, but they are more orange than brown.

I really want brown, slouchy, mid calf, low heel boots and these are perfect... I am going to have to get them aren't I?

I have these from Clarks. They are very comfy! There are a few similar styles too, check out their website.

I feel for you OP. I'm shorter at 4" 11 and its been a nightmare finding anything that doesn't hit the knee.

Sorry can't link but what about H by Hudson Keira boots? Mid calf suede buckled boots. Cost less and slightly more contemporary - they do look good with skinnies.
