I have v frizzy hair, abit of rain and wow it just does what it wants!!!
I don't mean flyaways etc I mean proper frizzy hair. I'm sick of my hair looking like shit all the time

If you don't dye your hair or use silicones then straighteners should do less damage. But it will contribute to damage if you use them every day.

Nope, not ready to embrace a full head of grey hair Grin I suspect my use of straighteners will continue, although I don't use them every day tbh - use my Babyliss every day which straightens it from Scary to Can Now Go Out In Public!

Iloveweetos · 19/11/2014 12:39

I dont use them every day (mostly as theres no point, cos as soon as i step outside my work will be undone!) lol
Im going into town today so will pick up the rainforest range.
I think eventually I will get a Brazilian blow dry though lol

Nothing worked for me other than a cut (to a bob from shoulder length hair).

I now stop using all products (apart from a heat protector spray). I simply roughly dry my hair - I look very strange - and then straighten it. It's the best my hair has looked in YEARS.

Keratin blow dry/ Brazilian blow dry home kits are available now - see Amazon. Have had treatment in hairdresser and done the home kit, same result. Really unbelievably great and takes much less time to blow dry your hair, never get frizz.

Unfortunately for me the effect only lasted for 8 weeks or so.

The hone kits have enough for two treatments though.Smile

Puppy - is one better than the other, or are all the Amazon ones much the same?

AcrossthePond55 · 19/11/2014 19:03

Moroccan Oil and rollers. That's the only way to keep the frizzies away for me. Blow drying or flat ironing doesn't 'stay' if it's humid or my hair gets wet, but for some reason if I comb through Moroccan Oil and set it damp on rollers I don't get the frizzies, or at least not as bad.

SirC

Keratin Kits is the brand - blonde woman on front of box- it's on there now for £27.99. Worth it. Smile

Thanks Puppy - will have a look now Smile

trevor sorbie range for curly hair is pretty amazing and doesn't cost a fortune. I have battled with v curly/frizzy hair for more decades than I care to mention and this range is really the only answer for me.
