Cetaphil vs Sebamed

I am going to Costco today- and planned to repurchase the giant double pack of Cetaphil cleanser.

However was just looking at the website, which reminded me that they also stock Sebamed.

Has anyone tried both and can comment on the pros and cons of both?

I have been using Cetaphil to keep my skin as spot free as possible. I don't tend to wear make up ( i know it is rubbish at removing make up anyway!).

I've used both - good results with both.

Sebamed is perfumed and foams

Cetaphil isn't perfumed and doesn't foam

Mmm - might stick with what I know.

Is Sebamed any more effective at washing off the odd application of mascara. Cetaphil just spreads it around ;)

I've never used either for removing makeup, just for cleaning skin.

I have a preference for Sebamed but I prefer lightly foaming.

My teen DS uses Cetaphil (probably because it's non perfumed and non foamy)

I bought the Sebamed shampoo for him ( I'm not a fan though)

Try olive oil on a cotton wool pad to take off mascara. Works really well!

In the end I bought a Boots Simply Sensitive Facial Wash Gel. That does get the make up off, yet seems to leave my skin not to tight.

I eyed up the Sebamed in Costco, but the variant they had was an Olive Oil one - different to the original version?

So left it for now.
