I need a new cleanser, I have some waxy and oily ones so I'm looking for a creamy one, one to tissue off that takes off make up. Ideally I can buy it in jihn lewis too (have a voucher!). Are clarins any good now?

Hi, I'm not a big clarins fan. I have been using lancome galateis for years though and it suits me.

I don't like clarins either. I love the body shop Camomile butter cleanser.

I like Clinique's Take Off The Day (it's a balm), but I do think you're meant to rinse it off.

Cetaphil doesn't need to be rinsed off.

Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser is nice and sold at JL although I thinks Boots own brand and Ponds is just as good and cheaper!

Apparently the body shop cleaner is a dupe for the clinique one so that would suit you better if you have a voucher.

The body shop dupe is supposed to be great. You do need to wash your face though. Tissue is just moving dirt around it. It's not properly clean in my opinion.

I agree with Clinique's balm. Using a warm wet flannel to take it off is the best way.

You're right though, you should double cleanse with a warm cloth-the difference is amazing

If you can find someone who sells temple spa products, locally. It is sold through parties or online. You can get a consultation and try products. It is all fabulous. There are different ones for different skin types. I'm addicted to it.

I used Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish for years then tried the Superdrug Radience one.

Now I use Good Things Manuka Honey Cleanser (smells gorgeous) with a muslin cloth or Philosophy Purity with a cloth if I have make-up on.

Soap and Glory Drama Clean if I haven't

Soap and Glory wash-off (either pink or green depends what's nearer) in the shower.

Muslin cloths last ages and I bought some new ones from Sainsburys (Dirty Works)
No pesky cotton wool fibres and they exfoliate too
