throckenholt · 06/10/2006 07:51

I hate them - but each to his own - if you like them than that is fine !

peegeeweegeeWITCH · 06/10/2006 07:54

They are absolutely gorgeous - I love them!!!

Ponka · 06/10/2006 07:55

Love them in the right circumstances. Wouldn't want to wear them down the pub or anything like that . They seem to be really around in the shops at the moment. DS has got some and I was thinking about getting a pair.

belgo · 06/10/2006 07:59

They look great. Makes me almost want to take up gerdening so I have an excuse to buy a pair.

Frizombie · 06/10/2006 09:31

FIMBOnABroomstick · 06/10/2006 09:32

I have a pink patterned pair which I got in Lidl about 2 years ago - great bargain at £4.99

Crocs are also doing wellies now!

CheesyFeetcomingtoGETyou · 06/10/2006 09:45

Lurve patterned wellies. Am yet to find a pair that fit me properly - I have big calves.

Tutter the ones in your link are fabulous

cowmod · 06/10/2006 09:45

lovely

UCM · 06/10/2006 10:04

My 75 year old SM has leopard print ones, she looks sooooo groovy in em!!

Blu · 06/10/2006 10:07

It's a fine line. Depends on the pattern and what you wear them with. Either genuinely funky, or teeth-wincingly twee.

expatinscotland · 06/10/2006 10:10

I find them naff on all but little girls and teens or old ladies.

Classic green Hunter wellington boots.

Those are the way to go.

BettyBatShapedSpaghetti · 06/10/2006 10:11

I've bought some for the first time this year! Got fed up of wet feet and ruining boots in the snow.
Intend to use them for exceptionally wet or snowy school run days ( as we always walk) or for playing out in the snow with the children as we seem to get a fair bit of snow here.

expatinscotland · 06/10/2006 10:12

I get DD1 cheap ones, though, b/c her feet are growing like a weed and her shoes are already about £40/pair b/c she has C-width feet w/low instep.

Quite like them. Fancy a pair myself for winter school runs and park visits.

BettyBatShapedSpaghetti · 06/10/2006 10:15

oh, meant to add to my post that( in my defence ) we do live in a semi-rural position and have no pavements on the school run so it can get quite messy.
