How old is too old to wear a leather skirt?

I've seen lots of leather skirts in the shops and I just wondered if 47 was too old before I take the plunge and buy one. I'm a size 10/12.

Age appropriate? Don't give a fig. I do slightly give a fig about looking loose women-ish, but not enough to stop me wearing it!

I'm not sure about the ASOS one to be honest. A pencil skirt needs to fit really well and I don't think that one does, not even on the model. You'd need to try it on. I like lurking's dress better although it wouldn't work for me (I don't have either the arms or the legs for it any more).

FWIW, I am mid 40s and have both leather skirt and leather shorts. Worn with opaques.
