How many pairs of boots is too many?

How many do you have?

I reckon I have 10 pairs... but I still want more!

That was 14 pairs of boots!!

I have 12 pairs.

Black flat patent knee high
Black heeled slouchy knee high
Black flat Chelsea
Black heeled ankle
Black sheepskin flats knee high
Brown flat suede knee high
Brown heeled ankle
Brown heeled knee high
Brown sheepskin flat knee high
Tan biker
Tan flat Chelsea

And two pairs hunter wellies for snow.

I think that covers all eventualities. Although I am desiring tartan doc martens.

I think that's it. I'm a good bargain hunter, I just worked out I saved over £500 on them in total, I only spent 40-50 per pair.

I'm the same ThisBitch - Both pairs of Ash boots I have were well under £100 either in the sale or with a hefty discount code. I also buy from Clarks in the sale. Buying out of season os also good. I have a Moda in Pella pair that were reduced from £100 to £40 cos I bought them in June.

Ok so I definitely need at least two more pairs, plus a pair of replacement black ankle boots. Yay!

Uggs don't count, they are slippers

What about wellies? I don't think they count either as they're a practical buy and not at a fashion choice

I have 11, and 5 of them seem to be navy ankle boots

But they are all different!

Since I started this thread I've bought three more pairs.. but I have decided to wave goodbye to at least one pair!

I LOVE boots! I used to have a fantastic pair of red suede lace up ankle boots I'd bought on the King's Road in the 80's. I wore them to death and kept them for about ten years until I had to throw them out. I've got about 12 pairs of boots. I like having lots of pairs as it means you don't wear out ones you love.

1 pair of tan Fly London calf length biker boots

3 pairs of DM zip wedges in brown/red and black

I pair of brown Fly knee high wedges (quite high)-lonely and soft!

2 pairs of brown ankle flat boots

Two paid of black spike heels-one ankle and one knee high. Very minky but not at all comfortable

One pair of black bikers

One pair of tan wedges

One pair of suede brown flats-calf length

That's not too many, is it?!

I love boots and footwear in general, so when its birthday or christmas, I usually get something footwear related, its all I want tbh.

You need knee and ankle (and poss mid calf) in black and brown,in flat and heeled.
So that's...erm...a dozen pairs...
The you need dm's,walking boots and another couple of pairs of roughty tuffty boots....

Two pairs more than whatever number I currently have - so one more pair wouldn't be excessive!

This thread is just depressing. I have only three pairs of boots (one of which has a hole in the bottom) and really don't have the money/space to buy/store anymore
I don't really know why I'm posting this, just feeling a bit miserable now, whereas before I was reasonably happy with my boots (note to self - must keep away from Style and Beauty, wanders off....)

shiny I don't have very many pairs either. I wish I did but a bit too skinted at the moment, and I'm not a shoe person, at least not to the extent that lots of women are.
