Looking for some really comfortable brogue style shoes, which have soles thick enough to be really supportive but are not too heavy and will allow me to do lots of walking in town. Black patent is probably my colour of choice.
Russell and Bromley are my usual default but I haven't found any perfect ones there so far.

I have several Fitflops and am pretty sure they'd be comfortable and cushioning, but can I take the clumpy-looking (frumpy?) sole? I know FF are a bit marmite-like on here.
