Am i behind the times, or do you all know about taking gelatine each day?

Taking a teaspoon or two of gelatine each day is meant to clear skin, strengthen nails and hair. Good for digestion and aids sleep.

It can be mixed in with tea or coffee so it doesn't solidify.

and who said dessert wasn't good for you Wink

OK Anathema, I needn't have worried. My man obviously COULD resist me. I realise that I smell like my Dad's old frying pan the day after he'd cooked bangers for us in lard and left it on the side to solidify overnight. Now I think about it, why did he do that? Maybe he was also a secret lard moisturiser user?
Anyway, the face feels good actually. It's not greasy with oil just sitting on the skin like, say, coconut oil would. It's really soft and hydrated. Oooh I could get used to it. I'll report back tomorrow. I think I'll have to put something more fragrant on overnight though or I will be too repellant.

Lovely soft skin today thanks muphys. Maybe these lard users really are on to something.

I'm home alone next week so I think I'll try it properly then.
I've been reading around a little on t'internet and apparently you can get rid of the stench by rendering it a few times.

Gelatine is made from animal skin, bones, ligaments etc.. still keen?
