Coat for 3yo boy this season...any recommendations please?

I've seen some really nice ones on the next website but as I'm ordering from abroad I can't go in and try. Looking for something warm and dry with a bit of style for a little blondie boy!

Any recommendations from experience of either this year's Next or any other good coats available this year would be much appreciated. Price range 20-40ish pounds. I.e. Not Polarn o Pyret!

I've just ordered my 3yo and 6yo DSs costs from H&M.

H&M coats are brillant. Totally surprised me. Warm, flexible, wash and wear very well.

I agree ThoughtsPlease, the Boden fleece-lined anoraks are great. It's been worn by both DS1 and DS2 for two winters each - so four winters of daily wear - and still looks like new after a wash.

Are the boden ones warm enough when the weather is colder?

H&M technical outerwear is FANTASTIC. So warm and waterproof and loads of thoughtful details.

Thank you combined wisdom of mumsnet! I finally went for the Boden coat with a 20% off code they have at the moment and delivery £6 to Europe so not too bad really especially as I ended up buying a pair of trousers, tshirt, and polo, oops! so it came to £32 for the coat itself. Such lovely colours. That Debenhams Regatta coat is really gorgeous though Yazzy. I think next time I'm in England, I'm getting myself back to Asda for some bargain coatage and try orange on him. And I will definitely look our for a Jojo bargain next time the sale is on as I now have a big crush on those 4 in ones. Oh dear, it's always a bad idea to ask you lot, I always end up spending more money!!
