interview outfit help!

I have an interview coming up and cluless about what wear. Its mid-level in NHS so needs to be smart but not OTT.

I am currently on mat leave and wear uniform normally so don't have any smart work clothes. I have massive boobs h/j and big hips my waist is smaller than hips but have post baby flabby tum (selling myself brilliantly lol). The mat leave means needs to be fairly cheap.

Was thinking black trousers with Blouse/shirt and jacket or blazer. I'm not sure if this will really suit me and don't want wear once and hide in wardrobe type thing.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Smile

Why not browse a few of the tailored pieces on the next directory. I have bought many an outfit for interviews from their range. I have always felt very smart in them.

I have the slouch trousers and they are a fantastic price and lovely quality. I wear them to work. They dont look as slouchy on me as they do on the model :)

A smart dress like this would work.

..The black shift dress is also lovely with a jacket, nice scarf and tights and black shoes.

Do you have any friends you could borrow from? I've lent out suits etc several times! Otherwise you could go for black trousers which are always useful and a really nice shirt/blouse and a co or divesting jacket. (Doesn't have to be black)
Or trousers and jacket same colour and t shirt (smear tush one)
Or
Black trousers and a really nice jumper - smart style. I have a great one years old which is fitted with a bow at neck sounds odd but get lots compliments 6 years on!

Think about the venue - is if hot? Will you want to take off jacket will you be sweaty? If so cotton too best.

I find Dorothy Perkins good for basics plus peacocks new look fine too but splash out on the colourful bit eg shirt .

I worked at mid to high level most of my career and used to mix in cheap high street with upper high street. NHS too.

Good luck!!!
