Best really dark blue skinny jeans?

These seem to be a perpetual quest for me! I'm after proper denim in a so-dark-they're-almost-black blue but that won't fade too quickly, skinny but not unforgivingly so and a waist high enough to keep my tummy under control on fat days!

I had a nice pair from New Look but they faded after about 3 washes - not surprising given the price I guess! I'd be happy to splurge on a pair if they met my wish list, do any of you style mavens have any tips for me?

I've just tried Gap legging jeans, i've got them in the ink colour which are nice and dark.
But I also tried them in indigo which are really dark.

I've got some high waisted boden ones but they aren't doing them this season.

My Dorothy Perkins ones are dreadful. The elastic went in them and I had to bin them.

Hobbs ones good quality but have lost their colour. I'm planning on re-dying them.

I have been very impressed with my Gap Forever Skinny jeans.

I have these from Zara. £25.99, darker than they look on the picture, skinny but not too skinny, waist is belly button high so no muffin top. My favourite jeans. Long in the leg though.

If you're looking for them in the shop, they say 'high waist 1975' on the inside.

I got a pair of relaxed skinnies from Next, v comfy and high waisted. Relaxed slim skinny fit without being spray on tight.

I've got my eye on these uk.lee.com/product/skyler/L308STVK. American Apparel also apparently do good high waisted jeans, not sure about colours though.

I have GAP Always Skinny and they are baggy on the knees. The are my "hanging out with the baby" jeans, definitely not going out jeans unless they are fresh on from the wash. i call them "Always skinny on the first day out of the wash and then a baggy mess" jeans.

I didn't like my Paige jeans, sold them on ebay for a fiver so someone got a bargain that day

I love my Gap always skinny jeans. Really dark, haven't faded. Nice and high waisted. They are more of a straight leg than a skinny. A lot of the recommendations above are for jeggings which I just can't get away with.
