All white holiday wardrobe?

Does anyone pack all-white clothing when they go on holiday?

My friend does, and she always looks great in her holiday photos! I am thinking of doing a similar thing when we go on holiday in a few months' time, and maybe adding coloured vest tops, and silver/gold chunky jewellery?

Very Liz Hurley!

It sounds very elegant but won't it all get stained with suncream?

Didn't WIT do this a few years back for her honeymoon? You might be able to still find it in her blog archives.

I am not sure about white but I do think that picking a colour or a spectrum of colours is a good idea. I have a friend who does this for her wardrobe and her home accessories etc and she and her home always look amazing Smileand effortlessly elegant ifyou know what I mean.i think you go all neutrals apart from the odd splash of same colour eg pinks, reds or blues greens.
Personally I think all white could be a bit boring and look quite bad if your skin tone isn't right.for many people cream and beiges are a bit more flattering.

No way could I get away with it I have red hair and am pasty so would look awful on me. If you had a tan and beautiful accessories it would look lovely. Though I would associate it with a v. glamorous holiday not the kind of holiday I usually go on.

Oof, no, apart from the suncream stains it wouldn't work with my normal start of holiday pallor. Not to mention the fact that most of my holidays these days are with small children aka stain machines (and I'm reasonably prone to spilling things on myself anyway).

I do tend to pick a small set of colours (eg navy/cream/teal/coral) and stick with those as it makes it easier to mix/match/accessorize.

This year I only packed neutrals - white/cream, grey, black, stone - and I felt and looked quite chic if I do say so myself Grin

I could easily do one colour, off-white rather than brilliant white though as it suits me better... All black is also very classy I think, especially on holiday...

I saw a shop in a very chic French town (St Martin de Re) that sold only white clothes!
